Adoption Requirements

  • All of our rescued friends are Indoor Companions only.
  • Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A veterinarian reference is preferred, although we will adopt to first time parents provided you have great personal references.
  • A 'home visit' may be done upon the final adoption of any of our wonderful, loving companions.
  • Our adoption fees range from $125 to $325 based on age of dog, medical expenses incurred, training and breed.
  • Fee includes spay/neuter, being current on DHLPP, heartworm checked, special medical treatment when required, flea & heartworm prevention, groomed, and socialized with other dogs, cats, adults & children.
  • Adult dogs also receive basic obedience training and are housetrained.

If your application is accepted, you can then set up an appointment to meet the dog.

Please note that an application does not lock you in to adopting nor does it guarantee that the adoption will proceed. It just helps us decide which of any of our dogs will be right for your family.
